GUESS WHO’S COMING TO DINNER …
“Jack the Ripper”: Eerily beautiful scary dinner in five acts and with four courses
Who was Jack the Ripper? At the original creepy dinner, probably the most mysterious criminal case in history will be solved – maybe! If you want to investigate, you can expect an eerily beautiful scary comedy in five acts and with four courses.
At the creepy dinner, guests are up close and personal as Judge Theodore Appetither Moonthmouth presides over the crucial judicial inquiry. Inspector Abberline presents the suspected culprit. But is this one really Jack the Ripper? The search for the truth leads the guests to a mental hospital, a dubious revue theater and a cemetery …
The original creepy dinners are a very special variation of the dinner theater genre. “We place a lot of emphasis on the plot and characters in our productions. Our guests experience a real play in which well-known creepy characters play the main roles,” says Managing Director Michael Schauer.
The audience is always part of the action, cleverly integrated into the respective plot. If you want, you might even be able to snag a small guest role, such as Mr. Abberline’s assistant Mr. Firth, the bailiff Mr. Brown, or the suspect Francis Thompson.
Even though it’s called “Scary Dinner,” “Jack the Ripper” is perfectly suitable for the faint of heart. The emphasis is on humor and good entertainment, disgusting effects are not to be feared in the literal sense. After all, the guests are served a tasty four-course menu between the game scenes, so no one’s appetite should be spoiled. Five professional actors create the eerily beautiful evening.
