Every year the same stress! What do we give to whom, what do we wish for, what can we exchange? From when and until when you have to endure the Christmas decorations and what visits to relatives can be bypassed? Or do we just get the hell out of here?

Sylvia Brécko, former WDR television announcer/presenter and cabaret performer since 2008, tours year-round with her current dog show, “The Last Child Wears Fur.” In her special on the holiday season, she sheds light on the communicative breakdowns between the sexes during this hot phase of winter. It can sometimes crackle in the hall… But luckily there are American Xmas carols like ‘Let it snow’ , ‘Rudolph the red nosed reindeer’ and “Santa Baby”, to which Sylvia Brécko has partly written her own German lyrics and which harmonize so wonderfully! And ultimately make you want to see snowy winter landscapes, festively decorated houses and fir trees. And on it, wrapped in thick, cozy blankets, to go for a sleigh ride.

A sparklingly funny show that takes a charming look at everyday Christmas life and will certainly help to face this year’s Christmas stress with more humor.

By the way: Since the beginning of the show, the adorable ‘Printinchen’ from the Lambertz company have been an integral part of this program, which are presented to the guests at the end of the show as a giveaway and small memento of the evening.

Thereby the kitchen of the castle Edesheim enchants the audience with a 3-course menu:

1st course: venison terrine with apple- celery salad and pumpkin chutney
2nd course: Goose leg on red cabbage, potato dumplings and chestnut jus
3rd course: Labkuchen crème brûlée with citrus fruits and mulled wine ice cream
